  JALEQUE, try it! The jaleque is spicy pulled meat with this juicy crispiness that's so good. I could eat it alone, but it's really great on a bun.The ribs were excellent tonight as always. Thanks!

  Food is not good enough for the poor and slow service. We arrived at 10:30am on Sunday morning. There were only a few occupied tables besides ours in the huge restaurant. It took the waiter nearly 30 minutes to take our order. We did not get our food until almost 12pm. We had our kids with us and they started crying because they were so hungry around 11:45am. The manager and owner we not courteous or apologetic for the slow service.
  
  To top it all off, a creepy man that was sitting alone at the bar came over to our table because the kids were crying and asked us to make them stop crying or leave. He couldn't hear the TV with all their "noise."
  
  Sad that service was so poor when it was not a peak time most people eat, disappointing management did not own up to it, and infuriating for another customer to expect us to make a two year old stop crying when he would've been fine had the food been brought out in a reasonable amount of time.

  There aren't many places to eat in Lago Vista so I'm assuming this is why the service can be so horrible and the business survives. The 2 times I have been there the people were not friendly at all. I walked in today, looked at the menu for about 45 sec, and the girl at the register began to text on her phone. When I stepped up to the register I said, "I think I am ready." She didn't look up she put her finger up and said wait a minute. The amount of time it took for her to finish the text made the whole situation awkward. Finally She asked what I wanted and to make matters worse they were out of what I asked for. I was so disappointed. Gave the place one more chance and they blew it. I will never be going again.
